Child-Friendly Services
Our services are exceptional no matter what age you are, but we take extra special care with our youngest patients. It is important that, from an early age, your child is not fearful of the dentist and understands how important it is to take care of their teeth. From regular cleanings and exams, to fillings and any other dental service they need, it is our goal to make their visit comfortable and even fun.
Cleanings
Routine teeth cleanings are the starting place for your child’s healthy teeth. We reach hard-to-clean areas that can be difficult to get with just a toothbrush and floss and remove plaque buildup. Professional dental cleanings are recommended twice yearly – this consistency in oral health care is important to start at an early age so that it’s maintained for life.
Exams
Our pediatric oral exams are just as thorough as our adult exams but presented in a way that’s easier for children to understand and with greater focus on kid-specific concerns.
Cavities
Cavities are a very common problem for children and one we want to help them take care of the moment we detect the tooth decay. We have you covered by providing fillings and other solutions that may be needed to prevent further issues. We will also make sure they understand simple steps they can take on a daily basis to keep the cavities away.
Orthodontic Consultations

When Is the Right Time for a Child’s First Visit to Cadence Dental Group?
We recommend that a child receive their first oral health checkup about six months after their baby teeth first start to show, or by their first birthday. During this exam, we’ll check their teeth and gums and start to monitor and document their oral health. Then, it’s recommended that children see the dentist every six months.
We Teach Good Oral Hygiene!
When your child visits us at Cadence Dental Group, we do more than just take care of their teeth now: we show them what they need to know to maintain good oral health themselves. Our staff patiently works with your kids to make sure they understand the basics of dental hygiene, like the proper way to brush and floss your teeth.
