Why Dentistry

I was born and raised in Vandalia, Ohio and graduated from Vandalia Butler High School.  I then attended The Ohio State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Community Health.  Through my studies of the human form, I discovered that the mouth is a gateway to the rest of the body.  Through this discovery, I gained appreciation for the power of a smile and the importance of maintaining oral health.  I dreamt of becoming a dentist so that I could assist people to ward off disease, nullify pain, and reestablish confidence.  I, therefore, found my way back to Ohio State and attended the College of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.  It is an honor to help others and to serve a community that raised and supported me.  I am excited to begin my dental career at Cadence Dental Group; where I will harvest constant learning, embrace innovation, and create relationships that span a lifetime.

At Home

My roots are firmly planted in the Dayton soil and I am so proud to be coming home with my fiancé, Ryan, and my pug, Sir Remington Pugsworth.  Our community of family and friends in Dayton is incredible and we look forward to making new memories here!  We welcome any opportunity to be outdoors, be social, and be active.  In my free time, I love running, biking, walking with the dog, hiking, boating, and traveling.

If you see me outside the office, please do not hesitate to say “hello.”
